Los Angeles, October 7, 2015 — In response to the horrifying video of an LAPD officer being stalked by an armed man, Craig Lally, president of the Los Angeles Police Protective League issued the following statement on behalf of the League:

“This is yet another instance of the steadily increasing number of brazen threats on the lives of police officers, threats that have raised the tension officers feel every day as they strive to keep our communities safe. The truth is officers are becoming targets, making the job of a police officer even more so dangerous than it already is. This trend of violence and senseless threats and attacks on law enforcement is disturbing, and we ask everyone to stand up and support their local police officers.”
