2024 Scholarship Application
The Scholarship Program is available to college-bound 2024 high school graduates who are dependents of active, retired or reserve LAPPL members (Lieutenant rank and below only) who have held continuous membership in the League for more than one year prior to the scholarship application deadline. A completed online application and signed official transcript (digital via Parchment, emailed directly from school official, or physical copy by mail) must be received at the League NO LATER than Friday, February 16th, 2024, by 5 p.m.. Following the application deadline, the in-person essay portion will be administered at the League on Saturday, March 16th, 2024. No alternative scheduling arrangements for the essay will be made, there will be no exceptions made. Essays will be judged on the applicant’s ability to analyze the essay question and appropriately respond to it in writing. Finalists will then be selected by the League Scholarship Committee and winners will be notified by phone Friday, May 10th, 2024.
