L.A. police celebrity golf tourney slated for Trump National

The hills will sparkle with star power Saturday as celebrities past and present play in the 38th annual Los Angeles Police Family Fun Day and Celebrity Golf Tournament at Trump National Golf Club.

The public won't get to play, but they will get to follow the celebs and get some autographs, and enjoy the LAPD equipment displays, entertainment and food.

Participating in the event will be celebrities like Neal McDonough, Michael Chiklis, Rick Dees, and others from such shows as "The Closer," "Saving Grace," "Desperate Housewives" and "The Shield." In addition, stars from some classic shows - Don Johnson from "Miami Vice," Erik Estrada from "CHiPs" and Chad Everett of "Medical Center." Celebrity host will be Donald Trump.

So gather the family and join the fun at Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults and children under 12 get in free.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Los Angeles Police Memorial Foundation.

Shuttle service will be provided to and from the Taste in San Pedro every half-hour from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., for those who want to attend both events.
