Los Angeles, September 30, 2015 — In response to the report made public Tuesday, September 22, in which Chief Beck faulted the actions of two officers involved in the Clinton Alford arrest, Craig Lally, president of the Los Angeles Police Protective League, released the following statement on behalf of the League:

“Law enforcement officers have the same rights as any other person. In the criminal justice system, everyone is innocent until proven guilty. We encourage everyone to reserve judgment and let the judicial process run its course.”
