Los Angeles, December 3, 2009 -- On behalf of all of the members of the Los Angeles Police Protective League, President Paul M. Weber responded this morning to the death of veteran Officer Kenneth Aragon, who had over 19 years with the Los Angeles Police Department:

“We are deeply saddened by the death of Officer Ken Aragon,” Weber said. “Ken’s colleagues at Northeast Division, as well as the community he served, will sorely miss his companionship, hard work and dedication to duty. Ken wore the LAPD uniform proudly and his fellow officers were proud to work with him. Ken was a dedicated husband and father. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Renee, five children and the rest of his family, who lost a good man.”
